Today, 70% of all Filipino Americans are products of the post-1965 immigration wave.Despite the significant numbers, access to information about them remains relatively non-existent in books, classes and even most Filipino American curricula. This is a major problem. This year's FANHS 101 historical Zoom series is an attempt to stimulate action in filling this void by promoting and fostering awareness through research by the sharing of personal oral histories of post 1965 immigrants and their descendants. All stories matter and are simply pieces to the puzzle called Filipino American history.
